Registration is Open For the 41st Annual Mistletoe Run!

A run in the cold can warm the heart! You are invited to the most wonderful run of the year! Join us for our 41st annual event on the first Saturday in December.

The Mistletoe Run, presented by Bell Davis and Pitt, is proud to be the YMCA of NWNC's largest fundraiser and proceeds benefit the children in our community by providing financial assistance and funding for youth programming like swim lessons, summer camp and more!

What happens when you give to the Y?

When you support the Y, you are positively impacting the lives of families, individuals, seniors and youth in our community. YOUR gift could give more children the opportunity to thrive in a safe nurturing space through our youth programs, help someone be their healthiest happiest self, encourage a senior to participate and socialize in a welcoming environment, create long-lasting summer camp memories for kids, and so much more! YOUR gift makes all of this possible!

Dirty Dozen 5K and Fun Run Obstacle Mud Run

Celebrate the 6th Annual Dirty Dozen 5K Obstacle Mud Run (ages 7 to adults) and Fun Run (for all ages) on Saturday, September 14, 2024! Whether navigating the 5K course or the Fun Run course, participants will be challenged as they run through obstacles and test their strength, agility, and stamina. Proceeds benefit people in the community, Y innovative health programs benefiting cancer survivors and other chronic disease programs.

Community Impact

We're proud to serve the people of Northwest North Carolina. In 2023, we launched new community programs, invested in our facilities and equipment, and continued to demonstrate that the Y is a safe place for all to focus on their health — spiritually, mentally and physically.

How Can You Help?

The YMCA has a mission of helping all people reach their God-given potential in spirit, mind and body. We also strive to turn no one away due to an inability to pay a program or membership fee. Our goal is to serve as many people in the community as possible that can benefit from our services. We can’t do that without your help.

Our Mission:

"Helping all people reach their God-given

potential in spirit, mind and body."
