9 cancer survivors have had the support to reclaim their health through LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA.
Let's Get Fit
We've served 132 participants with intellectual and developmental disabilities, giving them a space to exercise and socialize, at no cost to them or their families.
Bright Beginnings
60 children from Old Town Elementary and Cook Literacy School will now have the confidence, school supplies, clothes and shoes to have a wonderful back to school experience.
Summer Camp
We sponsored 120 children this summer, sending them to summer camp for a week full of fun, friendship, exploration and more!
YMCA Literacy
Thus far in 2023 we've served:
- 235 people in English as a Second Language and Adult Reading classes
- 3 people in RISE (Refugee & Immigrant Society of Entrepreneurs)
- At 3 locations, plus a virtual class that meets twice a week
Reaching Our Potential Teen Memberships
Our Teen Referral Membership initiative — REACHING OUR POTENTIAL offers young people ages 12-18 years old in our communities a free membership to access the Y’s fitness facilities, group exercise classes, basketball courts, swimming pools, and so much more. We are currently serving 79 middle and high school students.
